This HYDRONIX SWC-25-2010 string wound filter is made of polypropylene fiber cord, has a particle retention size of 10 micron, and is used in a water filtration system. This filter has an outside diameter of 2.5 in. and overall length of 20 in. It is made of polypropylene fiber cord which can be sterilized, has dimensional stability, and is resistance to most chemicals. Polypropylene filters are useful in residential and commercial applications for reducing scale particles, dirt, rust, sand and silt in water. This filter can withstand temperatures ranging from 40°F to 165°F. This string-wound filter is suitable for use in water filtration systems including residential and commercial applications that use well and municipal water sources.
