Potted vine is ready to plant and train . Plant in full sun in moist well drained soil . Space 6 to 8 ft. apart in rows or trellis and 8 to 10 ft. between rows . Self pollinating

Make your own wine with this grape variety. Steuben has large blue-black slip-skin berries used to make excellent red wines. Steuben is also very good for fresh eating, juice and jellies. The fruit is sweet and tender with a spicy tang. Vines are hardy, vigorous and easy to grow. Plant vines 6 to 8 ft. apart in rows and 8 to 10 ft. apart between rows.
